Rommel’s Renegades is a Day of Defeat Source clan established by Monkeyspanker in January 2005 and comprising of a membership from throughout Europe.

The clan leadership now comprises of Monkeyspanker & Splatt, with deputies in the form of MrE and spacedkadet (website and servers), Lithius (Recruitment) and PAKA90 (War Arranger).

Originally formed as a Day of Defeat 1.3 clan, on the arrival of Source we played both mods for a while until converting solely to the latter in 2006.

We currently run three servers:

1. Our main public server, it plays a mix of default and custom maps. There are ~130 maps on the server which we often choose from of an evening. The server is 32 slot. Occasionaly Splatt get's us a first look at a new map and we test in-house providing detailed feedback. If you have a map that you would like testing either in an open or closed server we would be happy to accomodate you.

2. A GunGame server. GunGame is a fast paced alternative game style in which players have to level up in a race to the last level. On each level you are awarded a different weapon, you must kill with each one once until the final level - the knife. First to kill with the knife wins the game.

3. A vanilla war server, no addons installed just ready to rock when we need it.

4. A map test server. We use this one to carry out testing of unreleased maps, test sessions can be open or closed with many players always willing to help test new maps (we love it here at =RR=). Contact splatt if you would like you map putting through it's paces :)

With our wide mix of nationalities and age groups, we are an eclectic – some would say eccentric – group of individuals with a love of DoD Source. Please feel free to visit our public and custom servers at any time where you will be made to feel most welcome.
